Our eyes work like a camera, which is connected to our nervous system. In this way, we can easily see the things around us. Do you know that there is a person in this world who removed his real eye and fitted a camera in it. This was done by film maker Rob Spence. Many people also call him the real life Terminator or Eyeborg. Terminator is a Hollywood movie.

Rob Spence has explained why he removed the real eye in 2007 and fitted a camera inside a fake eye in its place. It has a battery, circuit board and camera sensor. Let’s know the whole story.

An accident happened in childhood

Rob Spence told that when he was young, an accident happened to him. At that time he was shooting and he was holding the gun in the wrong way, due to which he got shot. Due to this bullet injury, he had to undergo several surgeries. After this, his real eye was removed.

After this, a prosthetic eye was installed through surgery, although he was against the traditional prosthetic eye. After this, he took a decision, here he decided to remove the traditional prosthetic eye and install a camera.

Wireless camera mounted on the eye

Rob Spence’s staff designer Kosta Grammatis helped him with this and designed a wireless camera for him that can be installed inside the artificial eye.

Electrical engineer Martin also helped in this. The engineer prepared a small circuit board. With the help of this circuit the wireless camera could receive and send data. This information has been obtained from the report of Live Science.

A lot in one camera

This wireless camera has a micro transmitter, small battery, mini camera and a magnetic switch. With the help of this switch, users can turn the camera on and off.

How much work does it do on full charge?

This camera can record 30 minutes of video on a single charge. Although this camera is not connected to the optic nerve system, they use this video in their film making.

There are three options available in the camera fitted inside this prosthetic eye. There is a biological realistic and glowing red version in it. In the year 2009, it has also been registered in the Guinness Book of World Records.
