Henry signed a two-year deal with the Ravens in March. As a former league MVP and two-time NFL rushing leader, Henry joined two-time MVP Lamar Jackson in a Ravens backfield that led the league in rushing in 2023.

Henry’s opening drive touchdown may have been a preview of one of the NFL’s most dynamic rushing offenses.

However, Henry is also running out of a shotgun offense in his first year, which may take some getting used to. Baltimore running backs coach Willie Taggart said he was a little worried about Henry running out of the shotgun, but then he saw him practice.

“I’m not going to lie, I questioned him, until he got here, and [I saw] The big man moves his legs,” Taggart said.

The Ravens’ offensive line turnover (instead of three starters) may also affect Henry’s room to run, but he still churned out over 1,000 yards on the ground last season. Clash of the Titans line.
