RAU’s IAS coaching did not get relief from the court, petition demanding to start classes was rejected

On Wednesday, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court rejected the petition of Rao’s IAS Study Circle to restart classes in the building in whose basement three UPSC aspirants drowned after rainwater entered the building on July 27. This petition was filed in the court by Abhishek Gupta, CEO of Rao IAS Coaching.

Abhishek Gupta had sought permission to access the building, saying he wanted coaching to resume so that students could continue their studies. However, the CBI opposed his plea, saying the basement was being used as a library at the time of the incident, while it should have been used for storage. Because the fire department and the MCD had given permission to the building owners to use the basement for storage.

Also, the Rouse Avenue Court gave more time to the CBI for investigation regarding the SUV. Let us tell you that the SUV is still with the CBI. The court was considering the petition of SUV owner Manoj Kathuria, who was arrested in this case. Later the court granted him bail. Kathuria had demanded the court to direct the release of his SUV from the custody of the CBI.

The CBI filed a status report regarding the inspection of the SUV and said that a team of experts from IIT-Delhi has inspected the vehicle and the gate of the building. It is yet to be examined by the Motor Vehicle Inspector. The court will hear the plea of ​​SUV owner Manoj Kathuria again on September 4. Delhi Police has accused Manoj Kathuria of driving his vehicle at high speed amid waterlogging, which created waves in the water and the gate of the coaching center broke and the basement of the coaching center was flooded.
