A sensational case has come to light in Thane district of Maharashtra. Here a man raped a woman. When the woman became pregnant, she was forced to have an abortion. The victim complained about this matter to the police. The police have registered a case on the basis of the complaint and started investigating the entire matter.
According to the agency, an officer of Rabodi police station said that the accused named 28-year-old Riyasat Ilyas Qureshi first befriended the 24-year-old girl. He lured the girl into talking and gradually made her believe in marriage. When the girl fell for the accused’s words, the accused started cheating her.

It is alleged that Riyasat Ilyas raped the girl several times between February 2022 and January 2024. The accused is a tailor. He works as a tailor. When the girl asked him to marry her, he flatly refused. After this, the victim approached the police with a complaint about the matter and narrated her ordeal.

After registering a complaint in this case, the police conducted a raid. Meanwhile, the accused was arrested from Jogeshwari in Mumbai. The police team is busy interrogating him. Officials say that action is being taken against the accused Ilyas under relevant sections.
