Ranbir went through mental issues

Ranbir Kapoor told Nikhil Kamat in a conversation that he had started taking therapy before his father Rishi Kapoor. Ranbir said- I had tried therapy before my father fell ill. I don’t think it proved effective for me for two reasons. Firstly, because I was not able to express myself fully in front of the doctor. Second, the doctor was somehow teaching me how to control life.

“To overcome all this, there is a way you can learn by teaching yourself certain things. Whatever he was telling me, it made me realise that I don’t want to manipulate life. I don’t want to avoid any emotion by putting it aside because that gives me peace.”

“Now you can’t talk about this topic so openly because anyone can pick up something like this and call you an anti-feminist or a male chauvinist. I think whether it’s a man or a woman, if they are not mentally well, there is no shame in seeking help. There is no shame in crying about it, and people who love you will understand.”

Don’t take advantage, talk to yourself

Ranbir said that it is very important that you deal with mental health issues calmly and gracefully. The actor said that many people actually take advantage of it. Ranbir said- Mental health is a problem that is better to deal with calmly and very decently. Do not make it an excuse for not doing any work and not living in a particular way. This is a problem, find a solution to it and keep working on it.

Workfront: Ranbir Kapoor will soon be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan. He is shooting for it. Apart from this, the actor also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal Park and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War.
