Republican Party of India President Ramdas Athawale has made an open offer to Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary. He said, “He is being ignored and insulted only because he lost from West Bengal. Due to this attitude of Congress, many people left the party and joined BJP. I request Adhir Ranjan ji that if he is being insulted in Congress, then he should leave Congress.”
Ramdas Athawale said that I invite him to join NDA or my party RPI.
Earlier on July 30, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary had targeted Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Adhir Ranjan had targeted Kharge
Adhir Ranjan said, “When the Lok Sabha elections were going on, Mallikarjun Kharge had said on television that if necessary, I would be kept out. Although I had expressed my opinion in front of the party leaders during the elections, I was saddened by such a statement by Kharge. You must have seen that the election results in West Bengal were also not good for the Congress. He said that even though I was the temporary party president, after the defeat in the state, it was my responsibility to hold myself accountable for this defeat. After this, I told Kharge ji that if possible, you can give me someone else in my place.”
Apart from this, Adhir Ranjan further said that in the meantime, AICC informed me to call a meeting of Congress leaders of West Bengal. It was said that two important proposals have to be passed. This meeting was called under my chairmanship. Adhir Ranjan said that till the time of the meeting, I was the President of West Bengal Congress but during the meeting, Ghulam Ali Mir addressed me as the former President of the state. Then I came to know that I am no longer the President of the state.
