Rajeev Khandelwal called the ban on PAK artists wrong, said ‘Who are these politicians…’

Actor Rajeev Khandelwal was once one of the most popular actors on TV. He left TV and chose to work in films and his performance started getting discussed from the very first film. He has played many different characters from TV to films.

These days Rajeev is seen with Emraan Hashmi and Shreya Saran in Disney Plus Hotstar’s show ‘Showtime’. Now Rajeev has talked about the ban on Pakistani artists working in India. Rajeev said that the Pakistani government is not sending its artists here by appointing them as agents.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, while talking about Pakistani artists, Rajiv said, ‘No no, this is all politics. It is very wrong. Who are the politicians to ban people? Our politics is dictating some things.’

‘We talk about peace, don’t we?’
Rajiv said that because of politics, the love between people is not being allowed to grow. He said, ‘It would be wrong for me to comment because I don’t understand why? We talk about peace. So even where peace is being created, people from political parties come and give it a Hindu-Muslim angle, then that is wrong. It is not as if the Pakistani government is sending them as agents. I don’t know. I have seen a lot of love being received.’

Let us tell you, after the attack on Indian soldiers in Uri in 2016, various artists and film organizations of India had banned working with Pakistani artists.

Talking about Rajeev’s career, he has worked in popular shows like ‘Kahin To Hoga’ and ‘Sach Ka Saamna’. He made his Bollywood debut with the 2008 film ‘Aamir’. He received a lot of praise for playing a very intense character in his first film itself. After this, he worked in films like ‘Shaitan’ (2011) and ‘Table Number 21’ (2013). Rajeev’s OTT show ‘Showtime’ has recently been renewed for the second season.
