Rajasthan: Woman’s dupatta got stuck in generator while dancing on DJ, painful death

In Kundal village of Balotra district, women reached the pond to immerse the Krishna idol while dancing and singing on DJ. During this, the dupatta of a dancing woman got stuck in the generator. Due to this, her head got caught in the running generator and the scalp along with hair got pulled off. Due to this, the woman died. A video of this incident has also surfaced.

It is said that 36-year-old Maafi Devi of Kundal village of the district had gone with the women of the village to take the idol of Lord Krishna for a boat ride on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. During this time, many women were dancing to the tune of DJ. While dancing, Maafi Devi came under the grip of a generator running nearby.

After the dupatta got stuck, the woman’s head also got hit
Before getting hit by the generator, the woman’s dupatta got stuck in the generator. After that, the woman’s hair got stuck in the generator. Due to this, the skin of her head along with her hair got separated. Seeing this, there was panic among the men and women present nearby. The injured woman was taken to Nahta Hospital in Balotra. Where the doctors declared her dead.

The incident caused a stir
On receiving the information of the incident, the Siwana police station reached the hospital and took the dead woman’s body in its custody and kept it in the hospital mortuary. According to Siwana police station officer Rajendra Singh, the police have registered a case on the family’s report and started investigation. The deceased Maafi Devi’s husband is a farmer and they have 4 children. There is 1 daughter and 3 sons.
