Resignation of Kirori Lal Meena: Rajasthan Agriculture Minister Kirori Lal Meena has resigned from the ministerial post. He submitted his resignation to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. Meena gave this information to a TV channel. Actually, during the Lok Sabha elections, Meena had said that if the performance of BJP is not good then he will resign. There was talk of his resignation since the results came out.
Was given the responsibility of seven seats including Dausa
Meena was given the responsibility of seven seats including Dausa in Rajasthan. During the elections, he had said that the PM had given him a list of seven seats in eastern Rajasthan, on which he worked hard. He had said, before the Prime Minister came to Dausa, I had said that if the (Dausa) seat is not won, I will leave the post of minister. Later the PM spoke to me separately and gave a list of 7 seats. I worked hard on 11 seats, worked harder on seven. If the party loses even one of those 7 seats, I will leave the post of minister. Agriculture, Rural Development, Disaster Management and Relief Minister Meena had campaigned vigorously in Dausa, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Alwar, Tonk-Sawaimadhopur and Kota-Bundi in eastern Rajasthan, but the results were not pleasant.
