A rainy forecast has prompted organizers to move Paola’s annual fireworks display at Lake Miola from July 4 to July 3. The Paola Chamber of Commerce’s Fireworks Spectacular will now take place at Lake Miola on July 3 at 4:30 p.m.
In Louisburg, the Freedom Festival scheduled for July 4 at Lewis-Young Park has been postponed to September 4 and will be rebranded as the Labor Day Celebration Fireworks. The event will feature fireworks along with other festivities.
