The rain was so heavy that water entered the building of the Institute of Town Planners India and the water was pumped out. Vehicles were also stranded on Delhi’s Barapula flyover amid waterlogging. Two people died due to drowning in a drain due to rain near Ghazipur police station area.
Due to heavy rains, three houses also collapsed in the national capital. As soon as the information was received, top officials reached the spot and started a rescue operation. It is being told that these houses were old and no one lived in them. Due to heavy rains, the road from ITO to Laxmi Nagar was closed due to waterlogging. Apart from this, the wall of a school collapsed in Daryaganj area. The name of the school is Happy School. Many vehicles in the area were damaged due to the collapse of its wall.
