Heavy rain has caused waterlogging and traffic jams in many areas of Delhi. This problem is going to increase due to office timings. People left for office early in the morning amidst rain but due to waterlogging at many places, the speed of vehicles has come to a halt and vehicles are seen crawling. In such a situation, it is advisable to avoid those areas of Delhi where waterlogging is certain due to rain. However, rain has brought relief from humidity and heat.

According to the latest update, the roads in Najafgarh Road, Barapula area are flooded with water. There is a long traffic jam on the roads of Noida after the rain. Vehicles are seen crawling on the roads in many areas. However, traffic jam is a common problem in Delhi as soon as it rains. Here a journey of minutes takes hours.

Let us tell you that the monsoon rains are continuing in Delhi and its surrounding areas. After heavy rain on Thursday, today, on August 6, the morning also started with rain. The Meteorological Department has predicted similar weather throughout the day today. According to the IMD forecast, rain is expected in Delhi and surrounding areas for three consecutive days i.e. till Sunday.

Let us tell you that on Thursday evening, there was heavy rain in central Delhi, due to which the maximum temperature was recorded at 33.6 degrees Celsius, which is one degree less than the season’s average. The minimum temperature was 23.3 degrees Celsius, which is 2.3 degrees less than the season’s average. The IMD has predicted generally cloudy weather and moderate rain on Friday. Along with this, the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 33 and 24 degrees Celsius. Continuous rain is expected in Delhi and NCR till Sunday.

According to Skymet, Delhi and surrounding areas may see the spread and intensity of monsoon rains on September 6 and 7. After this, the rain will be light on Sunday and the rain will start leaving the area in the late evening or night. A monsoon system is likely to become more active over the Bay of Bengal next week. It is estimated that the monsoon trough will remain away from the northern plains from September 9 to 13, including Delhi. Now the monsoon trough will return only by September 12 or 13, so the weather is likely to remain calm in the capital Delhi between September 9 and 13 next week.
