RRB JE Recruitment 2024: The online application process for a total of 7951 vacancies for various posts in the Railways is about to close. Eligible candidates who have not yet applied have the last chance today. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had invited online applications for the posts of Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant from July 30. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the application form by visiting the official website of RRB rrbapply.gov.in.
The application process for RRB Railway JE Recruitment 2024 will close on August 29 at 11:59 pm. After this, the application of any candidate will not be accepted. After fee payment, a correction window will be opened for the candidates for any kind of modification. This window will remain open from 30 August 2024 to 9 September 2024. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website of Railways, rrbapply.gov.in.
Railway Vacancy: Vacancy Details
Railway Recruitment Board has invited applications for recruitment on 7951 posts. Out of these, 17 posts are of Chemical Supervisor/Research and Metallurgical Supervisor/Research which are only for RRB Gorakhpur. The remaining 7934 posts include Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant of various RRBs.
Educational Qualification & Age Limit
The eligibility to apply for all the different posts is different, the detailed information of which is given on the official website. All those candidates who will complete the age of 18 to 33 years on 1 January 2025 are eligible to apply. Age relaxation will be given to candidates coming from reserved category.
Railway JE Recruitment 2024 Notification

Fee payment can be done through online mode only. Candidates from SC, ST, Women, Transgender, Minorities, Ex-Servicemen and EBC category will have to pay a fee of Rs 250/-. Candidates from all other categories will have to pay a fee of Rs 500.
Selection Process
The exam will be computer based which will be conducted in 2 phases. Candidates who pass both the phases will be called for medical and document verification. It is advised for the candidates applying that they should read the official notification once thoroughly before applying. Along with this, keep checking the official website regularly till the exam.
