The Food Drugs Administration of the Maharashtra government has carried out the biggest raid so far this year. A company manufacturing fake Ayurvedic medicines in Vasai, Mumbai was raided and goods worth crores of rupees were confiscated. According to information, fake medicines were being manufactured here for the last 7 years. During the FDA raid on a company named Gaharwar Pharma Private Limited, fake medicines worth Rs 1 crore 27 lakh were confiscated.
