Rahul Gandhi Meeting the Cobbler: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi appeared in the MP/MLA court of Sultanpur, UP on Friday in a defamation case. During this, a video of Rahul Gandhi has surfaced, in which he stopped at a cobbler’s shop on the way to Lucknow airport. During this, Rahul Gandhi talked to the cobbler and also enquired about his well-being.

When Rahul suddenly reached the cobbler’s shop

Sharing the video from its official social media account, the Congress party wrote, ‘Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi stopped his car on the way and met a cobbler’s family. We are constantly fighting for the rights of these hardworking people, raising their voice from the streets to the Parliament. Our goal is to make their present safe and their future prosperous.’

It can be seen in the video that when Rahul Gandhi was leaving for Lucknow airport after the hearing, he stopped his car at a cobbler’s shop on the way. The video of this meeting is going viral on social media. Earlier also, Rahul Gandhi had suddenly reached GTB Nagar in Delhi and met the daily wage laborers on the streets. He had learned from the laborers about the difficulties in their lives and the problems related to employment. He also assured them of solving their problems.

Accused of ruining the future of students

Another video of opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has surfaced. In which he spoke to the harassed students of NEET paper leak. Sharing the video on social media platform X, Congress wrote that ‘The continuous paper leaks in the country are destroying the future of lakhs of students and their families. It is our resolve to get justice for the students.’

The next hearing of the case will be on August 12

Rahul Gandhi, MP from Rae Bareli, appeared in Sultanpur MP/MLA court on Friday in the defamation case. Where he recorded his statement before the court. Special Judge Shubham Verma had directed Rahul Gandhi to appear in court on July 26 to record his statement in the case. The court has fixed the next hearing date on August 12.

Rahul Gandhi’s lawyer Kashi Prasad Shukla said that he has left the proceedings of Parliament and appeared in the court. He has recorded his statement in the court. Rahul Gandhi said that I deny the allegations made against me. A false case has been filed against me to tarnish my and my party’s image. The court has fixed August 12 as the date for the next hearing.

Local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vijay Mishra had filed a defamation case against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on August 4, 2018, accusing him of making derogatory remarks against then BJP president and current Home Minister Amit Shah in 2018 in Bengaluru.
