Who is Noori?
Last year, on the occasion of World Animal Day, Rahul Gandhi gifted his mother Sonia Gandhi a dog named ‘Noori’. Rahul Gandhi shared a video on his YouTube channel on the occasion of World Animal Day on 4 October 2023, in which he wrote, ‘Meet Noori – the new member of our family!’ Rahul Gandhi brought this puppy from Goa. In the video, Sonia Gandhi was shown playing with Noori.
There has been a controversy over the name of the puppy
AIMIM spokesperson Mohammad Farhan had an objection to the name of this puppy. According to him, these are the names of daughters of the Muslim community. Why did Rahul Gandhi keep this name? He also appealed to Rahul Gandhi for an apology.

Dog expert Rajkumari Khan told Aaj Tak that terriers are a special breed of dogs. Jack Russell Terriers are people’s favourites because of their looks and behaviour. That is why there is a high demand for them. Despite being small in size, Jack Russell Terriers are very fearless and energetic.
