Rahul Gandhi meeting of Farmer leader, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi met a delegation of farmer leaders in Parliament on Wednesday. India Alliance also protested in the Parliament premises on Wednesday alleging discrimination in the budget. All MPs including CPP Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjuran Kharge, Akhilesh Yadav were present in this protest. After this, Rahul Gandhi also met a delegation of farmer leaders in Parliament. The delegation of 12 farmer leaders included farmers from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka. KC Venugopal, MP from Punjab Raja Brar Gurjeet Singh Aujla, Dharamvir Gandhi, Haryana MP Deepender Hooda, Jaiprakash were also present in this discussion.
Rahul Gandhi said- I will fight your battle from Parliament to the streets
After meeting Rahul Gandhi, the farmer leaders told Times Now Navbharat that Rahul Gandhi listened to us very patiently and he has assured us that he will raise our demand in Parliament. We will take our fight from Parliament to the streets. At the same time, after meeting the farmer leaders, Rahul Gandhi said that we saw the memorandum of the farmers. The farmers of the country can be given a legal guarantee of MSP. We will also discuss this with our alliance parties and put pressure on the government to accept the demands of the farmers.
