Rahul Gandhi is speaking fearlessly, which is good… but will he make these 5 promises to the public?

Last Updated on 30/07/2024 by wccexam Desk

As the leader of the opposition, Rahul Gandhi is cornering the government a lot. This is good for the democracy of the country. The sign of a healthy democracy is that the opposition should get a chance to speak. But the opposition also has the responsibility to not use this freedom in such a way that the difference between freedom and liberty is lost. For a healthy democracy, it is important that whatever the leaders of not only the ruling party but also the opposition say should not seem absurd. Rahul Gandhi talked about tax terrorism, press freedom, obviously the countrymen liked it. But it was fine to compare the budget of the central government with the Chakravyuh of Mahabharata, but it did not make sense to compare those who surrounded and killed Abhimanyu, a hero of Mahabharata, in a Chakravyuh, with 6 people including PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Will this enhance the glory of democracy? Not only this, Rahul also said some things for which his own party Congress has been responsible. Rahul Gandhi should make some promise so that the people of the country understand the importance of Rahul Gandhi’s words. He can also make promises, as he did during his speech on MSP. He promised that when the India alliance government comes, MSP will be made a legal right. So will Rahul Gandhi make these 5 more promises…

1- Will Rahul Gandhi promise that the budget of Congress-ruled states will be prepared by Dalit and OBC officers?

Rahul Gandhi once again said in the country’s parliament today that about 73 percent of the population in the country is Dalit, tribal and backward class people. They are the main power, but they do not get a place anywhere. Showing a photo, Rahul said that budget halwa is being distributed in it. Not a single tribal, Dalit or backward officer is seen in it. 20 officers prepared the budget. 20 people have done the work of distributing Hindustan’s halwa. You kept one minority and one OBC together, the rest were not allowed to come in the photo.

In fact, Rahul Gandhi had said the same thing during the debate on the Women’s Reservation Bill that more than 90 percent of the people who take the most important decisions in the country are those who come from 10 percent of the population. Rahul Gandhi should have told that this does not happen in Congress-ruled states. Rahul Gandhi could have also told that this did not happen in the UPA government. But he will not be able to do so because the same is happening in Congress-ruled states as is happening in the Central government. But the surprising thing is that with these tricks Rahul is succeeding in setting a pro-upper caste narrative about the BJP. But if BJP also starts setting narratives based on lies in this way, other parties will also do it, due to which Indian democracy will be harmed. It is important for Rahul Gandhi to promise the public that from now on, in Congress-ruled states, the participation of Dalits and backward classes in making budgets or taking any important decisions will be up to 85 percent. He should also promise that after coming to power, Congress will recruit officers from all castes according to the population.

Senior journalist Dilip Mandal writes on X, ‘Why are SC, ST and OBC people not distributing budget halwa? Rahul Gandhi is looking for SC, ST and OBC IAS officers in this #Budget_Halwa picture in Lok Sabha today. He was sad that there is no such person there. It is true that there are no SC, ST and OBC officers in this picture. But why are there no officers, let’s check the facts. The IAS officers distributing halwa in this photo, Pandey, Seth and Somanathan are IAS of 1987 batch, Joshi is of 1989 and Malhotra is of 1990. All the five IAS officers in the picture are from before the implementation of 27% OBC quota, i.e. before the Mandal era. So it looks like an upper caste club.’

But Rahul should ask:

– Why did the Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi governments (1980-89) not implement the Mandal Commission report, which was kept in cold storage since 1980. B.P. Mandal had submitted his report in 1980 itself. If Mandal had been implemented on time, Rahul Gandhi would not have to be sad today.

Why was the 27% OBC quota not implemented until a non-Congress, BJP-backed government came to power in 1990? Due to court cases, the OBC quota was finally implemented in 1993.

It seems that no officer of the 1993 batch has been able to get seniority in the Halwa ceremony!

There is Article 340 in the Constitution. OBC quota should have been implemented from 1950. The hesitation of the Congress Party on OBC quota was one of the reasons for Dr. Ambedkar’s resignation from the Nehru Cabinet. OBC quota has a history of betrayal.

That is why we do not have OBC officers in top positions.

– Why are there no senior SC, ST officers from those batches now? What happened to them in between? Why was the Nagaraj decision not rectified during Manmohan Singh’s tenure?

The Indian lower classes, which include SCs, STs and OBCs, are suffering due to problems that arose long ago. These are issues from the past.

I hope that the present government will take steps to correct this anomaly and injustice.

SC, ST and OBC officers will strengthen the bureaucracy and the country. Diversity is good. We should learn from America and European countries.

2- Will you allow anyone to give a byte in the Parliament premises after coming to power?

Rahul Gandhi said that farmers are demanding legal guarantee on MSP, you brought 3 black laws. What did you do for the farmers, three black laws? Farmers are demanding legal guarantee of MSP from you. You have stopped them at the border. Farmers wanted to come here to meet me. You did not let them come here. On this, Speaker Om Birla interrupted him and said not to speak wrong in the House. Rahul said that when I went there, they were allowed to come. That too because the media was with me. The Lok Sabha Speaker said that the representatives of the farmers were not denied entry. Only MPs have the right to give bytes in the Parliament premises. Rahul Gandhi should promise the country that after he comes to power, everyone will get the right to go to the Parliament premises and speak on every issue of the country.

3- Today people are naming PM among the killers of Abhimanyu, he should promise that he will not feel bad if someone calls him Ravan or Kansa

Rahul Gandhi started his speech in Lok Sabha by comparing the budget of the central government with the Chakravyuh of Mahabharata. Rahul said- Thousands of years ago in Kurukshetra, Abhimanyu was killed by 6 people after trapping him in the Chakravyuh. Another name of Chakravyuh is Padmavyuh, which is in the shape of a lotus flower. There is fear and violence inside it.

In the 21st century, a new ‘Chakravyuh’ has been created – that too in the form of a lotus flower. The Prime Minister walks with this symbol on his chest. What was done to Abhimanyu is being done to India. Even today, there are 6 people in the middle of the Chakravyuh. These 6 people are Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Mohan Bhagwat, Ajit Doval, Adani and Ambani. This is almost the same allegation that Abhimanyu was killed in the battlefield of Kurukshetra because of these six people.

Does it befit the country to give such titles to the PM and Home Minister, the two biggest industrialists of the country? Will the Congress like it if any BJP leader compares the personalities of Rahul, Sonia and Priyanka with negative characters from mythology? Will it be appropriate if Modi and Shah themselves make similar comments about the Gandhi family?

4-Will Ambani promise to send Adani to jail?

Arvind Kejriwal formed the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi by threatening to expose the corruption of the then Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit. The lies of politicians have great power. When Rahul took the names of Ambani and Adani in the Lok Sabha, the speaker interrupted him saying that the names of those who are not members of the House should not be taken. After this, when Rahul again spoke Ambani and Adani, he put his hand on his mouth. Will Rahul Gandhi promise the people of the country that as soon as he comes to power, the government will arrest Ambani and Adani and send them to jail?

When Rahul took the names of Ambani and Adani in the Lok Sabha, the speaker interrupted him saying that people who are not members of the House should not be named. After this, when Rahul again said Ambani and Adani, he covered his mouth with his hand. In his 46-minute speech, Rahul took the names of Adani and Ambani four times. He kept his finger on his mouth twice. Rahul waved the poster of Halwa Ceremony. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman held her head. The speaker interrupted him four times but Rahul did not listen.

When Rahul took the names of Ambani-Adani in Lok Sabha, the speaker interrupted him saying that people who are not members of the house should not be named. After this, when Rahul again said Ambani-Adani, he put his hand on his mouth. 5-Promise that the caste census report will be implemented in Karnataka

Rahul Gandhi has been raising the issue of caste census from every platform even before the Lok Sabha elections. Speaking in the Lok Sabha, he said that 95% of the people want to know what our participation is. Who distributes the resources of the country, the same two-three percent people and among whom are they divided? Actually Rahul Gandhi wanted the issue of caste census to be raised. He says that caste census will change the country. But the question will definitely arise why Rahul Gandhi is bringing out the report of caste census not in Congress-ruled states. Caste census has been done in Karnataka but its report had come 6-7 years ago during the Congress rule. Even then Congress put that report in cold storage. It has been more than a month since the formation of the new government but the government is shying away from presenting this report before the public. Rahul Gandhi’s words will carry weight only when he will table the report of caste census in Karnataka in the House.
