Rahul Gandhi Gujarat Visit, After a great performance in the Lok Sabha elections, Congress is now eyeing the strongest fort of the Bharatiya Janata Party, i.e. Gujarat. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has directly challenged to defeat BJP in Gujarat. Now Rahul Gandhi is going to visit Gujarat. According to the information, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit Ahmedabad today i.e. on Saturday.

According to information, Rahul Gandhi will also meet the family members of those who lost their lives in various tragedies that happened in Gujarat in recent times, including fire in Rajkot’s game zone, boat capsized in Vadodara and Morbi bridge collapse.

Rahul will also meet the families of Congress workers

Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit Gujarat a few days after BJP and Congress workers clashed outside the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) office over his remarks about Hindus. Both sides filed complaints against each other in connection with the clash and FIRs were registered, following which five Congress workers were arrested. Speaking to reporters on Friday, state Congress president Shaktisinh Gohil said Rahul Gandhi will also meet the family members of the five Congress workers who are currently in police custody. “Rahul Gandhi will reach the state Congress office at around 12.30 pm. During his visit, he will meet and address party workers,” Gohil said.

There was a clash outside Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan

On July 2, members of both Congress and BJP clashed outside the Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan, the Congress state headquarters in the city’s Paldi area, when members of the BJP’s youth wing reached there to protest against Gandhi’s remarks about Hindus. According to police, there was stone pelting between the two sides, in which five policemen, including an assistant commissioner of police, were injured. On July 3, a day after the clash, Ellisbridge police registered two FIRs and arrested five Congress workers, who are currently on remand. One FIR was registered by the police against around 450 workers belonging to both Congress and BJP, while the second FIR was registered against Congress workers on the complaint of the youth wing of the BJP’s Ahmedabad unit.
