Property dealer murdered in Kanpur for Rs 52 lakhs,Family members said- Police kept making them run here and there, by then the murder had taken place

A property dealer who was missing for 4 days was murdered in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The family members say that some goons brutally murdered him for Rs 52 lakh and tied his hands and legs and threw the body in Kanpur rural area. It is alleged that on August 25, the police kept making the family go from one police post to another to register a missing person case of the missing property dealer. After this, the case was registered on August 27, while the body was recovered on August 29.

According to the information, property dealer Raja alias Hussain, who lives in Chakeri area of Kanpur, went to meet Tipu Rajput, who lives in Sen Paschim Para, on August 25. Tipu’s mother had called Raja. Raja’s brother Hasan alleges that his brother had given Tipu Rs 52 lakh to buy his farm, but Tipu was not registering it. The brother had gone to Tipu’s house to discuss this matter.

Raja’s family says that when Raja did not return home on the evening of 25th August, they called him, but his phone was switched off. When Tipu’s family was asked about this, they said that they had left him on the way on the bike. Raja’s family immediately informed the local police about this. The police told us that it was a matter of Sen Paschim Para police station and sent us there. When Sen reached Paschim Para police station at night, the police there said that it was a matter of Chakeri police station. Your house is in the same area. After this, we went to Chakeri police station.

When the family reached Chakeri police station at night, the police there told them to come in the morning and action would be taken. When they reached in the morning, they were told that their brother had gone to meet Tipu Rajput of Sen Paschim Para police station and he has disappeared from there, so they should go there and file a report. After this, the family reached Sen Paschim Para police station. There, the inspector took the missing person’s application and said that action would be taken.

On this, the family demanded from the police that Tipu Rajput, his mother and family members should be called and questioned. The police called them and questioned them, but after that sent them back in the evening. A missing person case was registered on 27 August, but the police did not conduct any search operation after that, nor did they try to find the brother, nor were the accused questioned.

The family of property dealer Raja alleges that the police remained silent. After this, on 29 August, it was found that a dead body with hands and legs tied was found in Bhognipur in Kanpur district, which was thrown after murder. When the family reached there and identified the body, it was found that Raja had been murdered. Bhognipur police prepared the Panchnama and sent it for postmortem.

After this, the family members of the deceased got angry and camped in Sen Paschim Para police station at midnight. They had camped accusing the police. The family members said that the brother was killed due to the negligence of the police. Raja’s brother Mohammad Hasan has filed a murder report against seven people including Tipu Rajput, his mother and son.

The family members say that if the police had questioned the accused in the beginning, my brother’s life could have been saved, because the police called them to the police station and questioned them, and then let them go from the police station. After the murder, the police have registered a case of murder of the property dealer against seven people including four named ones on the complaint of the family members.

In this case, questions are being raised on the police that when the dispute was going on about property worth 52 lakhs, then the police should have immediately searched for the missing property dealer Raja, the family should not have been made to run from one police station to another.

In this case, ACP Ghatampur Ranjit Kumar says that on the complaint of Raja’s family, a report was filed in Sen Paschim Para police station on the 27th. After filing the missing complaint, the police was searching for him, when on the 29th, information was received about his body lying in Bhognipur, Kanpur Dehat. In this case, further action is being taken by filing a report on the application of the family.
