Property dealer and his wife’s bodies found in a room in Bareilly, licensed pistol and cartridges recovered from the spot

There was a stir in the area after a property dealer and his wife were found dead in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Regarding the incident, the police said that the bodies of the property dealer and his wife were found in their own house in Green Park Colony of Baradari police station area on Saturday.

He said that the deceased have been identified as Alok Singh (52) and his wife Ritu Singh (45). The bodies of both were found on the bed in their room. Regarding this incident, SSP Anurag Arya said that the house was locked from inside and no outsider could have reached there.

Police said that initial investigation suggests that Alok first shot his wife and then committed suicide. Police have recovered a licensed pistol and cartridges from the spot.

Police said that forensic teams have collected samples from the spot and a detailed investigation is underway. He said that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the police is investigating the case.
