The company is going to launch its new Pixel smartphone in the Indian market and the global market. The company will also launch its new folding phone. This will be the first time when Google will launch a folding phone in the Indian market.
Google Pixel phones will be made in India
Google has announced that its production line has started in India along with its first Made in India Google Pixel 8 smartphone. The technology giant has also thanked Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for this.

Earlier it was being speculated that the production of Pixel 8 would start in the second quarter of this year. The Indian government is constantly trying to promote manufacturing in the country. Earlier, Apple also started its production in India. The company is now manufacturing its latest phones in India as well.
At the same time, with Google starting production, it has also become clear what the company is thinking about the Indian market. Google has not yet given information about its local manufacturers. Recently, the company has partnered with Reliance Digital Store and Croma to increase its presence in the offline market.

New Pixel phones will be launched
It also remains to be seen what impact the market will have after manufacturing starts in India. Whether the company reduces its prices or not. If reports are to be believed, Dixon Technology will manufacture Google Pixel phones in India. The company has not confirmed this yet.
The company is planning to manufacture one lakh units every month in India. On August 13, the company will launch its Pixel 9 series and Fold in the global market. These phones will be launched in the Indian market on August 14.
