Preparations to reduce road accidents in Uttar Pradesh, recruitment for these posts approved

To curb road accidents in Uttar Pradesh, ARTO Road Safety and MVI i.e. Motor Vehicle Inspector are now being deployed in every district. The responsibility of reducing road accidents in Uttar Pradesh will be given on their shoulders. Also, 50 ARTO (RTO) and 351 MVI posts have been approved.

According to the information, to reduce road accidents in Uttar Pradesh, in a road safety meeting 7 months ago, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had ordered recruitment on RTO Road Safety and MVI posts. Due to this, 50 RTO Road Safety and 351 MVI (Motor Vehicle Inspection) posts have been approved in the first phase.

The Chief Minister had given the order 7 months ago

After this, it was approved in a meeting of top officials of the Transport Department. 7 months ago, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had ordered the creation of these posts.

Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh said this in the matter

According to Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh, this is an important achievement for the Transport Department. This will further accelerate the work of road safety. Considering the importance of road safety, the Transport Department will appoint ARTO Road Safety in the remaining districts in the next phase. Road safety is a fixed priority.
