Pornographic film started playing on an advertisement board in Connaught Place, Delhi; a passerby saw it and complained to the police

An obscene film suddenly started playing on an advertisement board in Connaught Place, Delhi. When a passerby noticed this, he made a video of the incident on his mobile and complained about the matter to the police. Delhi Police has registered a case under sections of the IT Act and started investigation in this matter.

Actually, there is a digital board in H block of Connaught Place. At around 10:30 pm, a pornographic film suddenly started playing on this board. During this time, a passerby saw it and complained about the matter to the police. The police have registered a case and started investigation. In this entire case, the police is trying to find out whether someone had hacked the advertisement board or someone has done such an act.

A similar incident has happened earlier in Delhi too

Earlier, a similar incident had occurred at Delhi’s Rajiv Chowk metro station. A pornographic film had started playing on a screen installed for advertisement at the station. During that time also, some people had recorded this incident on their mobile phones. When this matter was investigated, three boys were seen in the CCTV footage.

It was suspected that these boys connected the LED screen to their mobile using WiFi and played pornographic films. When this matter came to light, Rajiv Chowk metro station was jam packed with people. People were waiting for the metro. After this incident, the DMRC spokesperson had said that this place was given to a private contractor for advertising. If any such pornographic clip has been played in the station premises, then it will be investigated and action will be taken against the contractor based on the rules.
