‘Police made the accused in over-enthusiasm’, read what the court said while granting bail to the SUV driver

In the Old Rajendra Nagar coaching case of Delhi, SUV driver Manuj Kathuria got a big relief on Thursday. He was made an accused in the coaching accident case in the capital. On Thursday, Delhi’s Tis Hazari Court granted him bail. Let us tell you that SUV driver Manuj Kathuria was arrested by Delhi Police in a case related to the death of three UPSC candidates in Old Rajendra Nagar.

The court’s written order has come regarding the bail of SUV driver Manuj Kathuria. The court said, “The police made the SUV driver an accused in their overenthusiasm and also registered a case against him under section 105 of BNS for culpable homicide. The court said, the police itself has admitted in its written reply that in the investigation so far, a case under section 105 of BNS (culpable homicide) does not stand against the SUV driver. The rest of the sections under which Manuj Kathuria has been made an accused are all bailable sections.

The court has imposed a condition on Kathuria. The condition is that he will cooperate in the investigation, will not tamper with the evidence and will not influence the witnesses by contacting them. In case of change of address, he will inform the police and the court. He will not give any statement regarding this case in the print or electronic media.
