The police has arrested the main accused in the case of molesting a girl in the rain near the Taj underpass in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow from Kanpur. Police said that the accused is a minor. He was hiding at his aunt’s place in Kanpur since this incident. The police has arrested 20 people in this case so far. When the police presented the minor accused in the court and sought his remand, the court refused to give him remand because the accused was a minor.
In Lucknow, after heavy rain on the evening of 31st July, a video went viral in which 30-40 boys were molesting a girl who was going with her friend on a bike and her friend looked helpless. The government was criticized a lot on social media regarding this whole matter, after which CM Yogi took strict action and immediately removed the DCP, ADCP, ACP. Along with this, the entire police station was also suspended. So far 20 people have been arrested in this whole case.

What did the victim say in this case?
While talking to Aaj Tak in this case, the victim said that on 31st July, he was going to drop his friend home after doing some important work. When he was on his way to Gomti Nagar Taj Underpass He was going to drop his friend off from the bike. It was raining during this time and some people were pouring water on each other. When he started leaving from there, 30 to 40 people surrounded him. After this, they threw his friend, who was sitting behind him on the bike, into the water and started touching her physically. During this, he kept pleading with everyone, but they did not stop. Meanwhile, people standing nearby kept making videos instead of saving him. Somehow, the young man dropped his friend home and came home and then locked himself in the room.
