“Geller Calling” “Max Out” is a season-long special exploration for the season Pokemon Go.
Focusing on galler starters Gruecki, Skorbny and ScobleIt opens with a ‘choose a path’ choice between three Pokemon.
“Geller Calling” special research will be available until the end of the season, ie You have until December 3 to file a claim. Once you log in and get started, it’ll be stuck in your Special Search tab forever, so there’s no rush to complete every step — and with 19 in total, there’s a lot to go through.

‘Geller calling’ special research search steps
Available from September 3, you have until December 1, 2024 to start researching “Geller Calling”. Once you have it in your special research tab, it won’t expire – meaning you can take your time completing the steps below. Thanks for Leaky With help filling in the blanks with the following.
Step 1 of “Geller Calling”. 19
- Catch 8 Pokemon (3 Charged TMs)
Rewards: 800 XP, 800 Stardust
Step 2 of “Geller Calling”. 19
At this point, you’ll choose between which starter – Gruky, Skorbny or Soble – you want to venture on.
You can read our ideas for choosing in the next section, otherwise, the following are the steps:
Step 3 of “Geller Calling”. 19
- Catch 3 Pokemon (3 Poké Balls)
- Take a snapshot of a wild Pokemon (5 Pinap Berries)
Rewards: Gruky, Scorby, or Soble encounter, 1,000 XP
Step 4 of “Geller Calling”. 19
- Catch 88 Pokemon (1,000 XP).
- Spin 25 Pokestops or Gyms (500 Stardust)
- Explore 8 km (20 Gruky, Skorbny or Soble candies)
- Evolve Gruky, Scorby, or Soble (15 Pokeballs)
Rewards: 10 Great Balls, 1,500 XP
Step 5 of “Geller Calling”. 19
- Catch 88 Pokemon (2,000 XP).
- Send 8 gifts to friends (1,000 Stardust)
- Hatch 8 Eggs (50 Gruky, Scorby or Soble candies)
- Evolve Thaweki, Raboot, or Drizzle (3 rare candies).

Choose Path Results: Which Galore Starter Should You Venture With From Grookey, Scorby, or Soble?
While mainline entries are often difficult to get started, this is not the case with “Go All Out” events — meaning Choosing Grookey, Scorbunny, or Sobble in Pokemon Go It’s just a case of what you choose.
Quest selection doesn’t just determine which starter you get Encounter at the end of step 2But which you need to develop in steps 4 and 5And who will you? Get candy for steps 4 and 5.
Another consideration besides the above is whatever you choose in this research step There will be an above average set of statisticswith “IV floors” of 10/10/10 (from a possible maximum of 15/15/15). This means you’re guaranteed to get a moderately powerful version of that Pokemon, so if you plan on having one as part of your battle party, opt for that.
That said, you easily catch more starters via field research and eggs with similar IV floors as part of a “Go All Out” event, not to mention the possibility of getting good stats through wild catches and a dose of luck. In other words – this isn’t your only chance to get a galler starter with a good IV.
To summarize, the “Choose a Path” quest won’t offer anything special, so pick your favorite of the three. (For us, it’s a grass starter. Always a grass starter.)
