Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the House Rahul Gandhi is on a US tour these days. On Monday night (local time) he addressed people associated with the Indian Overseas Congress in Herndon, Virginia. During this, Rahul Gandhi said, “PM Modi’s strategy of intimidation has disappeared immediately after the elections.” Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his US tour, said that PM Modi’s strategy of intimidation was limited only to the elections, it also disappeared as soon as the elections were over. Rahul Gandhi said that many people told me that ‘I am not afraid now, the fear is gone now.’
A direct target on BJP
Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Herndon, Virginia, saying, “The BJP does not understand that this country belongs to everyone and India is a union. It is clearly written in the Constitution that ‘India, which is the Union of India, includes different histories, traditions, music and dance. They (BJP) say it is not a union, it is something else.”
Our bank accounts were frozen before the elections
Rahul Gandhi further said, “Three months before the elections, our bank accounts were sealed. We were discussing what to do now. I said ‘we will see’, let’s see what can be done and we contested the elections.”

Along with this, Rahul Gandhi, referring to the atmosphere after the elections, said, “Something has changed after the elections. Some people said ‘Now I am not afraid, fear is gone’… It is interesting to me that BJP and Prime Minister Modi spread so much fear, put pressure of agencies on small businesses, and all this disappeared in a few seconds. It took them years to spread it, but everything ended in a moment. In Parliament, I look at the Prime Minister in front and can say that Modi ji’s 56-inch chest, the claim of having a direct connection with God, all that has now become history.
