PM Modi talk to Paralympic Medalist: PM Narendra Modi could not talk to gold medalist Avni Lekhara… congratulated Rubina-Manish

PM Modi spoke to Paralympic medalist: These days the Paralympic Games 2024 are going on in Paris. During this time, India has won a total of 5 medals including 1 gold, 1 silver so far (September 1). In this, female shooter Avani Lekhara hit the gold. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on Sunday (September 1) and congratulated these medal winners.

PM Modi spoke to Manish Narwal, Mona Aggarwal, Preeti Pal and Rubina Francis. While he could not talk to gold medalist Avni as she was participating in another event. PM Modi congratulated all the medalists.

Won gold with Paralympic record

Avni won the gold medal in the R2 Women’s 10m Air Rifle (SH1) event on Friday (August 30). Avni won the gold medal with a Paralympic record. Mona Agarwal of India won the bronze medal in the same event.

22-year-old Avni scored 249.7 points in the final, which is a Paralympic record. Bronze medalist Mona scored 228.7 points. Avni also won the gold medal in the same event at the Tokyo Paralympics (2020). That means she has defended her title.

Shooter Preeti Pal won the third medal for India in the Paris Paralympics. She won the bronze medal in the Women’s 100 meter race (T35). After this, on August 30, shooter Manish Narwal won the fourth medal for India. He won the silver medal in the Men’s 10 meter air pistol (SH1).
