PK will cut Lalu Yadav’s MY equation with Plan-M, know what strategy has been made for Bihar elections

Election strategist Prashant Kishor has announced to field 40 Muslim candidates in the assembly elections to be held in Bihar next year. This is being seen as a well-planned move by the Jan Suraj convenor to break into the Muslim-Yadav (MY) vote bank of the RJD.

This big announcement was made in front of a gathering of Muslim community at Bapu Sabhagar in Patna on Sunday afternoon. More than 7000 people from the Muslim community participated in this program. This is also being seen as a show of Prashant Kishore’s strength among the Muslim community.

The party will bear the expenses of all 40 candidates

Prashant Kishor has also announced that when he officially launches his party on October 2, it will have representation of at least 4-5 people from the Muslim community. His core team will have 25 members. He has also announced that his party will be launched with the support of more than 1 crore people from across the state.

The big announcement of fielding 40 Muslim candidates in the assembly elections to be held in Bihar next year is a clear indication from the election strategist to harm RJD. RJD’s core vote bank has been Muslims and Yadavs for more than three and a half decades. He has also announced that his party will bear the expenses of all 40 Muslim candidates in the elections.

The party will have 18 lakh Muslim members

It was the Muslim and Yadav vote bank that supported RJD supremo Lalu Prasad and his wife Rabri Devi to rule for 15 years between 1990 and 2005. Prashant Kishor has also announced that when his party is launched on October 2, it will have at least 18 lakh Muslim members. Prashant Kishor launched his Jan Suraj Abhiyan on October 2, 2022. He has travelled extensively in Bihar which is currently going on in some districts.

Muslim population in Bihar is 18 percent

While interacting with people, PK has repeatedly said that when he launches his party, it will have representation of people based on their population and the recent caste survey report. According to the Bihar Caste Survey Report 2023, the Muslim population in the state is 18%.

While interacting with the Muslim community on Sunday, Prashant Kishor raised the issue of lack of education in the community and explained how the central government is making laws like CAA and NRC, which he said are against Muslim interests.

‘Nitish betrayed the Muslim community in 2017’

He also reminded how Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar worked for the welfare of the Muslim community between 2005-2012, but how he betrayed the Muslim community in 2017 when he broke ties with RJD and formed an alliance with BJP.

Prashant Kishore said that according to the Muslim population, there should have been at least 1650 Mukhiyas and Sarpanchs in the state, but at present this figure is only 1200. He said that at present there are only 11000 ward members in Bihar against 27500 members.
