Pilibhit: Acid thrown on LLB student wearing burqa, encounter of accused within 36 hours, told why acid attack was done

Police has arrested Atul Kumar, the accused of acid attack on an LLB student wearing a burqa in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh. Atul was shot in the leg in an encounter with the police. Atul is also an LLB student and was learning law from a lawyer in the court. The victim student was also an intern there. So both of them knew each other well. But in the meantime, the student suddenly stopped talking to Atul, angry with this, he attacked the student. threw acid,

Pilibhit police said that on the evening of August 13, advocate Om Prakash and LLB student Pooja were returning home from the court when two bike-borne youths attacked them with acid. After committing this crime, the accused fled from the spot. CCTV revealed that one of the men was wearing a burqa.

After which the police formed teams to arrest the accused. Meanwhile, on Thursday early morning, the police team started surrounding the accused in Gajraula police station area. Seeing this, the accused fired at the police team with a pistol, in response to which the police also fired. A bullet hit the accused Atul Kumar’s knee and he fell down injured. Arrested Atul told the whole story during interrogation.

According to Atul Kumar, he is a LLB student. Pooja also used to come to the court to practice law. He used to have a good conversation with Pooja. But for the past few days, she was ignoring him. Pooja stopped talking to him. Out of this anger, he threw acid on her.
