Physical relationship and greed for money… what did the aunt who introduced her niece to Nawab Singh tell her

After the former block chief Nawab Singh Yadav, accused of rape in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, now the aunt of the minor victim is also in police custody. When the police interrogated the victim’s aunt, many things related to the incident came to light. Police say that Nawab Singh’s brother had lured the victim’s aunt to not record her statement. Along with this, he also asked her to name some people so that the investigation of the entire case could be diverted.

Actually, on the night of 11th August, former block pramukh Nawab Singh Yadav called the aunt of the minor girl in Kannauj. She was in Lucknow at that time. When the victim’s aunt told that she is in Lucknow and her niece is also with her, Nawab Singh asked her to come to Kannauj that very night.

After this, the victim’s aunt reached Kannauj with the victim and stayed overnight at Nawab Singh Yadav’s college. It is alleged that Nawab Singh raped the minor girl at night. During this, the victim’s aunt remained present outside the room. The victim also called for help, but her aunt did not help.

After this, the minor girl went out and called the police on 112 number from her mobile and informed the police about the entire matter. On receiving the information, 112 and Kotwali police team reached the spot. Police took Nawab Singh Yadav into custody.

After this, the police got the victim’s medical done with the consent of her family, which confirmed the rape. After this, the police registered rape charges against Nawab Singh. The police arrested Nawab Singh. After this, after getting permission from the court, Nawab Singh’s DNA sample was also taken.

The second accused in this entire case, the victim’s aunt, was absconding. The police arrested her on Wednesday morning at around 5 am when she was going to her maternal home. When the police interrogated the victim’s aunt, many important things came to light.

What did the Superintendent of Police say about the entire incident?

Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar Anand said that the aunt of the arrested victim has told that when the victim went for medical examination, the brother of the accused Nawab Singh Yadav had lured her into not recording her statement. Along with this, he had also asked her to reveal some names so that the investigation gets diverted.

SP said that during interrogation it has also come to light that the victim’s aunt was in contact with Nawab Singh Yadav for about 5-6 years. There was also a physical relationship between them. On the night of 11 August, Nawab Singh Yadav called her from Lucknow. She reached Nawab Singh Yadav’s college at night.
