Jitan Ram Manjhi, Big personalities of the country and abroad attended the wedding of the son of the famous industrialist Mukesh Ambani. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the reception. Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi was also invited to this wedding but he did not attend the ceremony. He sent his best wishes to the newlywed couple. When journalists questioned Manjhi about keeping distance from the wedding ceremony, he said that we had received invitations to attend the wedding of Ambani’s son, but people came wearing obscene clothes. The kind of display that took place there in the wedding, the atmosphere that was witnessed, we could not go with our family in that environment. We did send the invitation.
We are unable to adapt to that environment- Manjhi
Manjhi said, ‘Our family could not adapt to the environment and culture there. We come from a poor family and the difference between poverty and wealth was visible. In Ambani’s son’s wedding, every part of the body was visible due to vulgar clothes and people were seen dancing with each other. We could not go with our family in such an environment. Therefore, we did not go to Ambani’s son’s wedding but sent our best wishes.’
Gandhi family did not arrive
All the big leaders of the ruling party and the opposition attended this royal wedding. However, the Gandhi family did not attend the wedding. PM Modi also arrived to bless Anant Radhika. Lalu Prasad Yadav attended the ceremony with his family. Well-known political personalities including Mamata Banerjee, Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, Akhilesh Yadav attended the ceremony.
Foreign guests attended
Big personalities from different fields attended the wedding ceremony. There was a gathering of big industrialists, company heads, film, glamour and sports stars from all over the world at Jio World Center. From foreign guests like former British PM Tony Blair, FIFA chief Gianni Infantino to many Indian political leaders, industrialists, sports stars and Bollywood stars were present here.
