Paris Paralympics 2024: India’s amazing performance in Paris Paralympics, Thulasimathi Murugesan won silver, Manisha got bronze

Indian badminton player Thulasimathi Murugesan has won the silver medal in the Paris Paralympic Games. In the final match of women’s singles class SU5, Thulasimathi Murugesan lost to China’s Yang Qixia 17-21, 10-21. Manisha Ramdas won the bronze medal in the same category. With these two medals, India’s medal count has now increased to 11.

India’s medal tally rises to 8

India’s medal tally at the Paris Paralympics has now reached 11. India has so far won two gold, four silver and five bronze medals. First, Avani Lekhara won the gold medal in the R2 Women’s 10m Air Rifle (SH1) event on Friday (30 August). Avani won the gold medal with a Paralympic record. India’s Mona Agarwal won the bronze medal in the same event.

Then Preeti Pal won the third medal for India in the Paris Paralympics. She won the bronze medal in the Women’s 100 meter race (T35). After this, on August 30, shooter Manish Narwal won the fourth medal for India. He won the silver medal in the Men’s 10 meter air pistol (SH1). After this, Rubina Francis won the bronze medal in the Women’s 10 meter air pistol (SH1). She scored 211.1 points in the final. Then on August 1, Preeti Pal won the bronze medal in the Women’s 200 meter race (T35) and Nishad Kumar won the silver medal in the Men’s High Jump (T47).
