Paris Paralympics 2024: India gets fifth medal in Paris Paralympics… Rubina Francis wins bronze in shooting

Indian athletes are in action on the third day of Paris Paralympics 2024 i.e. 30 August (Saturday). Shooter Rubina Francis won the bronze medal in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol (SH1). India’s medal tally at Paris Paralympics 2024 has now gone up to five. India has so far won one gold, one silver and three bronze medals.

Rubina Francis scored 211.1 points in the final match. Iran’s Javanmardi Sareh won the gold medal and Turkey’s Ozgan Aysel won the silver medal. Javanmardi Sareh scored 236.8 points. Ozgan Aysel scored 231.1 points. Rubina was at the second position at one point, but later she fell behind.

India won four medals on the second day of the Paralympics. Manish Narwal won the silver medal in the Men’s 10m Air Pistol (SH1). Preeti Pal won the bronze medal in the Women’s 100m Race (T35). While in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle (SH1) shooting, Avni Lekhara won the gold and Mona Agarwal won the bronze medal.
