Ramita Jindal has reached the final of the Women’s 10 meter air rifle event. Ramita finished fifth with a total of 631.5 points in the qualifying round of 60 shots. Ramita scored 104.3 in the first series, 106.0 in the second, 104.9 in the third, 105.3 in the fourth, 105.3 in the fifth and 105.7 in the sixth series. The final of this event will be played tomorrow (29 July).

Let us tell you that Elavelin Valarivan was also participating in the Women’s 10 meter air pistol event, but she disappointed. Valarivan finished 10th with 630.7 points. Although Valarivan was moving towards reaching the final at one time, she could not maintain her momentum in the last few shots.

Ramita Jindal and Elavenil Valarivan participated in the 10 meter air rifle mixed team event, where their performance was not good. After this, Ramita got inclined towards this sport. 20-year-old Ramita won the gold medal in the women’s 10 meter air rifle event at the Junior ISSF World Championship in 2022. Then Ramita also won two medals at the Hangzhou Asian Games.
