Today (28 July) is the second day of the Paris Olympics 2024. All eyes are on shooter Manu Bhaker, who is participating in the final of the women’s 10 meter air pistol. 22-year-old Manu Bhaker could not do anything special in the Tokyo Olympics, but this time she has come to Paris with the intention of performing better.

Manu Bhaker finished third with a total of 580 points in the 60-shot qualifying round. Bhaker scored 97 in the first series, 97 in the second, 98 in the third, 96 in the fourth, 96 in the fifth and 96 in the sixth series. Rhythm Sangwan was also participating in the women’s 10 meter air pistol event, but she disappointed. Rhythm finished 15th with 573 points. Eight shooters have made it to the final.

Indian shooter Manu Bhaker is participating in her second Olympic Games at Paris 2024. She made her debut at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 but was denied a medal after her pistol malfunctioned during the 10m air pistol qualification. She also missed out on medals in the mixed team 10m pistol and 25m pistol events.

22-year-old Manu Bhaker is competing in the women’s 10m air pistol, 10m air pistol mixed team and women’s 25m pistol events at the Paris 2024 Olympic shooting competition. She is the only athlete from the 21-member Indian shooting team to compete in multiple individual events.
