Indian shooter Arjun Babuta has reached the final of the Men’s 10 meter air rifle event. Babuta scored 630.1 in the 60-shot qualification series and finished seventh. The top-8 players have made it to the final. The final match of this event will be held on Monday (July 29). Arjun scored 105.7 in the first series, 104.9 in the second, 105.5 in the third, 105.4 in the fourth, 104.0 in the fifth and 104.6 in the sixth series. The final of this event will be played tomorrow (July 29).
Sandeep Singh disappointed
Let us tell you that Sandeep Singh was also participating in the Men’s 10 meter air rifle, but he finished 12th with 629.3 points. China’s Lihao Sheng secured the first position in the qualification round with 631.7 points, Argentina’s Marcelo Julian Gutierrez also scored the same. Italy’s Danilo Denis Solazzo finished third.

Arjun Babuta and Ramita Jindal finished sixth with a total score of 628.7, while Sandeep Singh and Elavelin Valarivan finished 12th with a total score of 626.3. The pair of Arjun and Ramita had once raised hopes. This Indian pair was in fifth place with three shots remaining, but eventually fell 1.0 points behind the cut off for the medal round.
