Parents snatched the phone and said- focus on studies, angry son committed suicide by hanging himself

A shocking incident of suicide has come to light in Noida, UP, adjacent to Delhi. When the parents snatched the mobile phone from the 16-year-old son, he committed suicide. Police said on Thursday that the 16-year-old boy committed suicide in anger because his mobile phone was taken away.

Police said the incident took place in Bhangel village under Phase-2 police station area late Wednesday night. According to the news agency, a police officer said, ‘Initial investigation revealed that the deceased Abhishek (16) was not focusing on his studies, so his parents took away his mobile phone.

After this, Abhishek was angry because his phone was taken away. Upset by this, Abhishek committed suicide by hanging himself from the fan in the house. Police said that the body has been sent for postmortem and further investigation is underway.

Let us tell you that earlier a similar case had come to light in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. A 14-year-old girl committed suicide after being stopped from playing games on mobile. She was a ninth class student and committed suicide by hanging herself. When the police investigated the case, it was found that the mother of the deceased minor was a nurse in a medical college.

Seeing his daughter always playing games on mobile, he scolded her and asked her to concentrate on her studies. Fed up with this, the girl hanged herself to death.
