On one hand, the food delivery company has made our fast-paced life easier. It gives us the option to save time, and also to order the food of our choice from our favourite restaurant. But sometimes a mistake in food delivery also becomes the reason for its embarrassment on social media. Recently, a similar case came to light, where a woman in Delhi alleged that she got a non-veg meal instead of the veg meal she ordered.
Ordered palak paneer and chicken
Sharing the details of her order on ‘X’, Himanshi wrote – She had ordered Palak Paneer, Soya Peas, and Millet Pulao from Eatfit on Zomato. But instead of Palak Paneer, Zomato delivered her Chicken Palak. Delivery of chicken in the month of Sawan is completely unacceptable because she had ordered only vegetarian food.

Earlier also there was a piece of chicken in paneer biryani
However, this is not the first time such an incident has happened. Earlier this year, a Pune man had posted a complaint on ‘X’. In the post, the man claimed that he found a piece of chicken in the paneer biryani he ordered from Zomato. He had ordered this from PK Biryani House, Karve Nagar, Pune. He also mentioned that he had received a refund for it. However, he said that the incident hurt his sentiments as he is a vegetarian.
