Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem creates history, wins gold in Olympics 2024, actor Ali Zafar will give reward

Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem has created history by achieving a big victory in the Paris Olympics 2024. Nadeem won the gold in the javelin throw competition. He threw the javelin 92.97 meters in his second attempt in the javelin throw competition, which is a new Olympic record. Happy with Nadeem’s victory, Pakistani actor and singer Ali Zafar has announced to give him a reward of Rs 10 lakh.

Arshad Nadeem created history

Arshad Nadeem fouled in the first round of the javelin throw competition held at Stade de France in Paris on Thursday, 8 August. But in the second attempt, he threw the javelin 92.97 meters away and made a new Olympic record. In the third round, he threw the javelin 88.72 meters away. In the fourth attempt, he threw 79.50 meters, in the fifth round, 84.87 meters and in the last i.e. sixth round, he threw the javelin 91.97 meters away. With this, he won the gold medal of the game.

Ali Zafar had already predicted that Nadeem would win this gold medal. He shared a video on Instagram, in which he requested the people of Pakistan to encourage the players going to the Olympics 2024. Ali specifically mentioned Arshad Nadeem and said that he is confident that Nadeem will achieve a big victory in the Paris Olympics. Now that Nadeem has actually won the gold medal, Ali Zafar is very happy.

Ali Zafar will give reward

Pakistan had not won a gold medal in the Olympics since 1992. But Arshad Nadeem has done something that has made the country proud. Ali Zafar tweeted about Arshad Nadeem, ‘Arshad Nadeem broke the record with 92.97 and won gold for Pakistan. I will give him a prize money of Rs 10 lakh through the Ali Foundation. Let’s give our heroes the celebration they deserve.’

The actor further wrote, ‘I request the government of Pakistan and CM Shahbaz to welcome Nadeem like a hero and open a sports academy in his name. If our athletes and sportsmen get the support they deserve, they can win 10 gold medals in a year.’

Neeraj Chopra remained at second place

Arshad Nadeem is being discussed everywhere. Talking about India’s Neeraj Chopra, he has won the silver medal. After committing a foul in the first round, Neeraj threw the javelin 89.45 meters in his second attempt. This was Neeraj’s best throw this season. Neeraj has won a medal in the second consecutive Olympic Games. Neeraj has become the first Indian player to win another medal after winning gold in an individual event of the Olympics. Neeraj is the first Indian athlete to win one gold and one silver.
