Pakistani national entered Indian territory after being chased by girlfriend’s family, BSF arrested him

The reason given by the Pakistani citizen who crossed the border in Barmer to the security agencies for infiltration is shocking. The Pakistani citizen said that when his girlfriend’s family ran after him, he ran and entered the Indian border.

The Pakistani citizen said that while fleeing late at night, he got lost and reached Jhadda village 15 km inside the Indian border. In the morning, when the villagers saw him and questioned him, he started asking for the address of a bus to go to Tharparkar in Pakistan. After this, the villagers handed him over to the BSF.

When his girlfriend’s family chased him, he entered the Indian border
Barmer SP Narendra Singh Meena said that the name of the Pakistani citizen who entered Indian territory is Jagsi son of Parshuram. He had come to meet his girlfriend in a village located on the Pakistan border on the night of 24 August. When the girlfriend’s family came to know about this, he fled from there. The SP said that probably due to fear, the person crossed the barbed wire and entered the Indian border. The Pakistani citizen was seen in BSF cameras at around 2:48 am on the night of 24 August. According to the SP, a mobile phone with 2 SIMs and a diary have been found in the possession of the Pakistani citizen.

The intruder is a resident of Kharoda, Pakistan
For the last 3 days, several security agencies including IB, CIDCB, BSF have been questioning the Pakistani citizen. What was his motive behind entering India? 21-year-old Pakistani citizen Jagsi is a resident of Kharoda in Tharparkar district of Pakistan. This village is 35 km away from the Indian border in Pakistan.

His girlfriend’s village is located 7 km away from the Indian border in Pakistan
The village of Ghoramari, the 17-year-old girlfriend of the Pakistani citizen, is just 7 kilometers away from India’s Navatla border. The love affair between the two has been going on since 2020. Jagsi had gone to meet his girlfriend on the night of 24 August. After reaching there, he insisted his girlfriend to elope. But, the girlfriend flatly refused. Meanwhile, the girlfriend’s family got wind of this and Pakistani citizen Jagsi fled from there.

When my heart was broken I tried to commit suicide
During police interrogation, the Pakistani citizen told that when his girlfriend refused to elope with him, he was heartbroken and decided to commit suicide. He took her dupatta from his girlfriend’s house and left the place and made a noose of the dupatta and tried to hang himself from a tree. But, he was saved as the branch of the tree broke. When his girlfriend’s family started chasing him, he reached the Indian fence.
