Actress Ameena Sheikh is a big name in the Pakistani industry. She is known for her excellent acting talent. Fans often praise Ameena’s performance. Many are also impressed by her commitment to promote art and culture. Now the actress has spoken openly in an interview about putting her career on hold and focusing on her children.
Amina revealed the reason
In a conversation with Momcast, Amina Sheikh said, ‘I used to shoot and then nurse my daughter in between, then I would go back and shoot again. Feeding a baby is a huge commitment to your body. So I was not getting any breaks for myself while feeding in between scenes. I was literally working in double shifts.’

She further said, ‘After that, obviously his school and routine became a priority. I also had to face some other challenges in life, due to which I had to put my career aside and choose the future path carefully for myself and my children. So I shifted to Dubai.’
Talking about taking difficult decisions as a working mother, Amina Sheikh said, ‘And for some time I had to choose what my priority was here. My child and her future and then my passion, I chose that. I took that break. I really had to redesign things, rebuild the family, myself as well. I put work on the back burner and thank God I was able to do that financially. Because many women do not have that kind of support in their marriage. Or they are not financially strong. I had that support from my parents and working in the industry for years and being financially sensible, I was able to do this.’

Amina Sheikh had taken a long break from the Pakistani industry. But now she is returning to the spotlight with her new project. The actress will be seen in Netflix’s project ‘Jo Bache Hain Sang Samet Lo’. Actors Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Ahad Raza Mir, Bilal Ashraf and Sanam Saeed along with other actors will also be seen. This show is based on the book of the same name.
