‘Pakistan has ended the round of talks, every step will be answered in its own language…’, Jaishankar said bluntly

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has made a big statement about the neighboring country Pakistan. He has said that the phase of talks with Pakistan is over. Pakistan has ended the phase of talks without any interruption. Every positive and negative step of Pakistan will be answered in its own language.

He said at the launch of a book in Delhi that neighbours always remain a problem. If we look at any country in the world, neighbours remain a problem because maintaining relations with neighbours is the most difficult task. These can never be resolved. Problems with neighbours persist continuously. People often say that this is happening in Bangladesh, that is happening in Maldives. I say that they need to look around the world to see which are the countries that do not have challenges with their neighbours. I think it is the nature of neighbours that relations with them do not always remain the same.

He said that the phase of talks with Pakistan is over now. It is necessary to remember that there is a reaction to every action. As far as Jammu and Kashmir is concerned, Article 370 has been removed. But today the issue is what kind of relations can be there with Pakistan. Every positive and negative step of Pakistan will be answered in its own language.

What did Jaishankar say on the situation in Bangladesh?

On the current situation in Bangladesh, Foreign Minister Jaishankar said that our relations with Bangladesh have been full of ups and downs since its inception. We have to accept that there have been political changes there. We have to take care of mutual interests here.
