‘… Otherwise the Hindu population will be wiped out in areas like Malda, Kishanganj, Katihar’, MP Nishikant Dubey made this demand to the government

Dr Nishikant Dubey, MP from Godda, Jharkhand, raised the issue of the declining population of tribals in the Parliament. He started his address with ‘The Constitution is in danger’ and said that here we talk about Dalits, we talk about tribals. Whoever is in power, its only goal is to reach the last person. The BJP MP said that when the Santhal Pargana from which I come was separated from Bihar to Jharkhand, the tribal population was 36 percent. Today the tribal population is 26 percent. Where did 10 percent tribals disappear, where did they get lost?

He said that this house never shows concern about it, it does vote bank politics. Nishikant Dubey said that the government here is Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress, no action is being taken for this. He said that infiltration from Bangladesh is increasing continuously here. Bangladeshi infiltrators are marrying tribal women. It is not a question of Hindu and Muslim. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey said that the women who contest Lok Sabha elections here, contest from tribal quota and their husbands are Muslims.

The Godda MP said that the husband of the chairperson of the Zila Parishad is a Muslim. We have 100 tribal chiefs who are in the name of tribals and their husbands are Muslims. He said that elections were held in our area recently, all the people here have contested the elections. The population increases by 15 to 17 percent in every election, here it is 123 percent. Nishikant Dubey said that in Madhupur, one of the Lok Sabha constituencies from where he was elected, the Muslim population has increased by 117 percent in about 267 booths. There are at least 25 such assembly seats in the whole of Jharkhand where the population has increased by 123 percent, 110 percent. This is a matter of great concern.
