Opportunity to become Agniveer in Indian Air Force, know how to apply, eligibility and last date

Airforce Agniveer Vayu Recruitment: The Indian Air Force has released the notification for Agniveer Air Non-Combatant Recruitment. For this recruitment, the candidates must be 10th pass. This means that there is a golden chance for 10th pass to get recruited in the Air Force. IAF Bharti 2024 Agniveer Air Recruitment will require running 1.6 km. Let us tell you that Non-Combatant posts are given to such candidates who are recruited on non-combat operation posts. They do not have to fight from the front, rather they are mostly recruited for technical services.

Age Limit

Only those candidates who are born between 2 January 2004 and 2 July 2007 and are 21 years old at the time of applying can apply for this recruitment. Along with this, only unmarried men are eligible to apply for this recruitment. It is necessary for the candidates applying that they have passed 10th or its equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Applications for Agniveer (“Agniveervayu Non-Combatant”) recruitment will be made only through offline mode. To apply, visit the official website. Click on the “Application Forms” tab under the “Agniveervayu Non-Combatants” tab on the portal. The application form will open on the next screen, download it. Fill the downloaded form and send your application form through post to any one of the addresses as per the list of official addresses given on the official website. Please note that the forms will be accepted only through offline mode.

Selection Process

The candidates applying will have to appear in the examination in 4 stages. The candidate who passes the examination in all the four stages will be selected. The 4-stage examination will be like this-

Phase – I (Written Examination)

In the written exam, 20 questions of 20 marks will be asked from class 10 level. 10 questions will be from General English and 10 questions will be from General Knowledge. Candidates who score at least 10 marks in the first phase will qualify for the second phase.

Phase – II (Physical Fitness Test)

The physical fitness test will be conducted in 2 phases. First of all, the height of the candidate will be measured. Candidates whose height is 152 cm will go to the first phase of the physical fitness test. In the first phase, the candidate will have to complete a 1.6 km race in 6.30 minutes. After this, in the second phase, the candidate will have to run 1.6 km and then after a 10-minute break, he will have to do 10 push-ups in 1 minute. After a 2-minute break, he will have to do 10 sit-ups in 1 minute. Once again, after taking a 2-minute break, the candidate will have to do 20 squats.

Phase – III (Stream Suitability Test)

Only those candidates who pass the physical fitness test will be able to come to this stage. The third stage will be of qualifying nature. In this stage, it will be necessary for the candidate to score at least 50% i.e. 15 marks in the work or training given.

Phase-IV (Medical Examination)

After passing the three stages, the candidates will have to give a medical exam. Only after which their final selection will be done. For the candidates who will qualify for the second stage i.e. physical fitness test, it is necessary for them to get the consent form signed by their guardian before the fitness test. It is advised to the candidates that before applying, they should go to the official website and check all the detailed information related to the application and the exam.
