IIT Dhanbad has announced admission to the four-year integrated BSc-B.Ed course for 12th pass students. A total of 120 seats are available in this course, in which 40-40 seats have been set for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. This course will start from the 2025-26 academic session. How to get admission?
First of all, know that 12th pass students can become a part of this course. IIT Dhanbad has started this new integrated course to prepare science teachers. But keep in mind that admission in this will be done only if you have a good score of National Testing Agency (NTA). Currently, this course has been started in IIT Bhubaneswar, Madras, and other IITs as well.
What will be the benefit of a four year graduation course?
This four-year BSc-B.Ed integrated course provides an opportunity to complete both the degrees simultaneously. Usually, BSc is completed in three years and B.Ed in two years, but this integrated program can be completed in just four years. There will be two semesters every year, so that students will get the benefit of both the degrees.
