Earlier, Vinesh created history on Tuesday night by becoming the first Indian woman to reach the gold medal. Now Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has also reacted to Vinesh’s disqualification. He has demanded an investigation into the technical reasons behind this discussion.
The Samajwadi Party chief posted on the social media platform X and wrote that there should be a thorough investigation of the technical reasons behind Vinesh Phogat not being able to play in the final. Along with this, he has also demanded to bring out the reason behind this.

Earlier, on Vinesh Phogat’s disqualification, Prime Minister Modi said, “Vinesh, you are a champion among champions! You are the pride of India and an inspiration to every Indian. Today’s setback hurts. I wish words could express the sense of disappointment I am experiencing. It has always been your nature to face challenges boldly. Come back stronger! We are all with you.”
