A case of raping a girl on the pretext of giving her an ANM job has come to light in Nagaur, Rajasthan. It is alleged that the girl was raped after being given intoxicants in tea. During this, the accused made obscene photos and videos and threatened to make them viral. He also extorted money from her. The police have registered an FIR in the case and arrested the accused.
The victim gave a written report to Surpalia police station of Jayal subdivision of Nagaur, in which she told that on August 11, a young man named Vijay Singh Panwar called her to Nagaur on the pretext of giving her a job as ANM (Female Multipurpose Worker). Then he raped her by mixing intoxicants in her tea. After this, he took her photos and made videos in an unconscious state.
It is alleged that when the matter of job came up, the accused said that he would make her photos and videos viral. He also extorted money from the victim by threatening to make her photos and videos viral. On the victim’s report, the police registered a case under sections 376, 376 (2), 384, 406, 67, 67B and IT Act and arrested the accused from the bus stand of Nagaur.
The police inspector said that on August 12, the victim reached Surpalia police station and filed a report, in which she told that the accused Vijay Singh raped her by luring her with the job of ANM and giving her intoxicants in tea. Also, he made obscene photos and videos of her. When I told him about the job, he said that now I will make your photos and videos viral. After interrogating the accused, he was arrested when the charges were proved.
