Zhang won the bronze medal in the women’s 50m rifle 3 position shooting last week. With this, China has won its first medal in this event since the Rio 2016 Olympics. While people praised Zhang for her victory, many people’s attention went to her rifle decorated with Hello Kitty stickers. Many pictures of her unique rifle went viral on Twitter.
Know that Hello Kitty is a fictional character who is a female anthropomorphic white Japanese bobtail cat. Many stickers of this Kitty were seen decorated on Zhang’s rifle. There was a lot of talk about it on Twitter. One said – even such big players like these cute things. Let us tell you that India has won 3 medals in Paris Olympics so far. All three are bronze medals, which have come in shooting. First of all, Manu Bhaker won bronze in 10 meter air pistol. Then the second bronze medal was also won by Manu Bhaker in the mixed team event. Sarabjot Singh was also in the team with her. The third bronze medal was won by Swapnil Kusale in shooting’s men’s 50 meter rifle three position.
